Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through training.obsidianaz.com, operated by Obsidian Security LLC, dba Obsidian Security (“Obsidian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing any training course from the Site, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.


1. Digital Products – No Returns

All products sold on the Site are digital, on-demand training courses delivered electronically.

Because digital content is immediately accessible upon purchase, returns are not accepted.


2. Limited 7-Day Refund Eligibility

A refund may be requested within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase date only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The course has not been completed; and

  • The course has not been substantially accessed, as determined by our learning management system (LMS) records; and

  • The refund request is submitted within the 7-day window.

Refund requests that do not meet all of the above conditions will not be approved.


3. Definition of “Substantially Accessed”

For purposes of this Refund Policy, a course is considered substantially accessed if any of the following occur:

  • A material portion of course videos, lessons, or modules have been viewed or accessed

  • Course assessments, quizzes, or exams have been started or completed

  • Course materials, downloads, or restricted content have been accessed

  • The course is marked as “completed” or “in progress” within the LMS beyond an initial introductory module

LMS activity logs and completion data are the final authority in determining access and eligibility.


4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Completed courses

  • Courses substantially accessed

  • Requests made after seven (7) calendar days

  • Failure to complete a course

  • Lack of time, scheduling issues, or change of mind

  • Technical issues caused by the user’s device, internet connection, or software

  • Failure to meet employer, licensing, or third-party requirements


5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact us within seven (7) calendar days of purchase at:

  • Date of purchase

Refund requests submitted through other channels may not be reviewed.


6. Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Approval of a refund results in immediate revocation of access to the refunded course.


7. Abuse and Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refund requests, suspend accounts, or terminate access for users who abuse this Refund Policy or engage in fraudulent or improper conduct.


8. Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
